Every night, this CMS automatically exports MySQL™ data from the main tables of this content management system.

Backups are usually retained on the server for 7 days before being automatically deleted.

Backups are usually emailed to the webmaster's Gmail account on Sunday night (for off-site storage purposes).

Most of the forms used to modify web content are configured to record both old and new values when changes are made. This changelog feature is occasionally priceless in as much as users might inadvertently delete something they shouldn't.

Most of the database tables are configured to allow records to be deleted. Actually, records are rarely deleted, and instead, a status field is flagged as deleted in order to suppress the future display of the deleted record.

Database integrity is automatically checked every Sunday. Database tables can sometimes crash for no apparent reason. Sometimes tables can be repaired after crashing, but more often than not, a backup copy must be restored. Out of the 1,000+ database tables currently deployed by this CMS, only 1 or 2 tables crash each year.

This content management system has been in constant development for many years. While lacking a few features found in some of the Open Source CMS's, this system has been carefully thought out, well tested, and deployed on more than 100 websites.
