My primary focus is on a custom content management system which offers a wide range of features and is deployed on more than 100 websites. Each web page is comprised of text or HTML markup entered in various fields in a MySQL™ database table. The PHP scripting language is used to retrieve the properties of the requested page ID and send a compressed HTML document to the web browser, on-the-fly. No static HTML pages exist in the system.

PHP scripts available to other web developers include the PHP Form Generator. This project will instantly generate a ton of user friendly programming code which can be used to interact with MySQL™ MyISAM database tables. No faster method of generating web forms exists, although phpMyEdit-based forms are not 100% suitable for all applications.

PHP Form Generator includes an Alternate PHP Form Generator whose goal is to maintain forms from multiple databases and multiple tables all in the same administrative directory.

The PHP Code Generator is currently under development and occasionally shared with other PHP programmers. This application is often used to quickly create a rough draft of PHP scripts required by special pages in the Content Management System.

Open Source contributions include having written most of the original phpMyEdit Documentation, assisting with moderation of the phpMyEdit Forum, and assisting with the debugging of phpMyEdit.

My first computer programming experience dates back to the 1981 release of the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A having only 256-Kb memory!. Past work related programming experience includes developing a quote system in a manufacturing environment where employees were spending 30 minutes on bid preparation (automated methods reduced the required time to about 2 minutes). Other work related programming adventures included database development for human resources and general accounting purposes.
